Graham Bond Makes It Two Wins in a Row to Claim Duncan King Trophy

Graham carded a superb net 53 in the August Duncan King Trophy, securing the title after a closely fought contest.

It was a tie at the top, with Tim Saunders also finishing on net 53 strokes, but just as he did on Friday, Graham edged the victory on countback over the final six holes.

Andy Thomas was also in the mix, finishing just one stroke behind on an excellent net 54.

Speaking after his victory, Graham summed up his approach with the words: β€œI am all about efficiency”, suggesting that he had deployed precisely the right amount of effort to get the job done.

Although, given that he recorded a four-putt on the 17th hole, there may be some questions about just how efficient that particular strategy was!

Congratulations also go to Mike Rutherford, who picked up nearest-the-pin on Hole 1, while Graham Bond took NTP honours on Hole 5.

And there was another winner away from the course, with Tim Saunders taking home Β£20 in the raffle.

Another trophy, another win and another very successful week for Graham.
